Front end marketing or finding new customers

Getting new customers is essential to the survival of any business and this area within the Marketing Toolkit is focused on new customer acquisition tools and strategies.

There are many ways to get more customers to buy from you for the first time, however it is important to remember that different businesses and industry sectors use a variety of methods to attract new customers. You need to be sure that you are using the right ones for your business.

Using the 'Fish where fish are' tools we should have a clear vision of where the best prospects are for your business and the 'Customer focus' will provide a specific profile of the type of customer that you want to attract. 'Front end marketing' is about developing systems through which you:

1) Attract the prospect - Knowing who and where is essential if you are going to be successful

2) Present your offer - This needs to specific to the way in which you have reached your target, there will be different strategies for exhibitions than say a workshop or direct mail campaign.

3) Close the deal - Too many times all of the good work is undone because the 'sales conversion process' omits this vital element.

Quiet Storm, using 'Front End Marketing', will help you to:-

Your 'sales pipe' or process can then be monitored to see the number of prospects generated and the conversion rates experienced. This is important when calculating the numbers in future campaigns - it's no use generating the interest if you can't respond in an acceptable time frame. They can also be analysed to refine the process and work on (or remove from the strategy) any under performing areas.

This information will then be the basis for working out your ROI or Return on Investment on the campaign and a benchmark for future marketing activity.
