Garden Centres launch members club to increase sales

Released: Monday, 7th June 2004

There are usually plenty of posters and leaflets too, so any point of sale materials need to be good to work.

When Mark Earp, Managing Director of two successful garden centres, approached Quiet Storm he was looking not only to gain the attention of visitors but also to persuade them to join a new garden club that he was launching.

“We had no corporate identity, no logo and no materials publicising the club,” he said. A meeting was arranged with Quiet Storm and designs were then created for the Bradgate Nurseries club.

“The designs that Quiet Storm has created are professional and a little different from anything we have seen before,” Mark said.

A corporate identity, membership application forms, direct mail cards and point-of-sale pod roller banners are among the materials produced by Quiet Storm Solutions for Bradgate Nurseries.

And within weeks of the launch garden club membership was growing well and many visitors to Bradgate’s centres at Newtown Linford and Staunton Harold in Leicestershire have commented on how eye-catching the six-feet-tall pods are.

Anyone interested in joining the garden club should collect an application form from the garden centres.
