New Site Design Generates 55% More Enquiries

Easy site navigation really can make the difference between making a sale and not.

Martin Evans, Managing Director of Vivid Presentation Solutions, felt that his company's website could be deterring customers and with design being added to the company's portfolio he decided it was an ideal time for a redesign.

Having worked with Quiet Storm in the past, he approached them to redesign the site, explaining that ease of navigation was critical.

On the new site Quiet Storm has put products together by type, provided each category with a visual representation and brief description to enable visitors to see which range they need to view, and then within each category has included images and specifications for each model.

"From the point of entry on the site it is now much quicker and easier for visitors to find what they are looking for," Marketing Manager Emma Woodhead said.

And the ease of navigation is not the only bonus. "We have added design to our range of services and so the site needed to reflect this in the visual impact it has on visitors," Emma said. "I also wanted to be able to update the site and keep it fresh myself. Quiet Storm has delivered each of these requirements."

Emma says that since the site has been revamped Vivid is getting an increased number of calls generated by it. "On average Vivid now takes 55 per cent more calls each month since the re-vamp of the site," she said.

Vivid is so impressed by the difference it has made to their business they are now talking to Quiet Storm about site optimisation, to help them get more people to that now very attractive door to their company than in the past.
