Raising awareness of domestic violence through sensitive campaign
With plans for an awareness-raising campaign in the pipeline, North West Leicestershire Domestic Violence Forum decided that it needed some new marketing materials

Released: Monday, 9th August 2004
Forum chairman Pam Moretta said they had seen other organisations using portable roller banners and decided these would be a good way of attracting attention.
"Sourcing these provided an ideal opportunity to revamp our existing materials and we went to discuss them with Quiet Storm," Pam said.
A new logo was created and then used on a leaflet, roller banners and posters for the Forum.
"When we met, Pam said the Forum wanted a look and images that were relevant to everyone, something that like domestic violence itself does not discriminate in any way," Quiet Storm Director Phil Megson said.
The Forum is delighted with the results. "We explained to Quiet Storm what we were looking to achieve and what they have done is brilliant," Pam Moretta said. "We would never have been able to translate our brief in the way they have.
"By the time we actually placed the order time was running out too, but they met the deadlines. We were very impressed with how quickly they turned the work around," Pam added.
