Seasonal marketing campaign for shopping centre attracts attention

Released: Tuesday, 1st October 2002

With fairy tale favourite Aladdin featuring in its Christmas grotto and the Grimsby Auditorium staging it as its pantomime, Freshney Place, Grimsby's favourite shopping centre had no trouble in deciding on a theme for its seasonal marketing campaign this year.

Freshney Place's Marketing Manager Louise Smith wanted to reflect a magical feeling throughout the shopping centre's Christmas promotional material. The illustration of Aladdin set in an Eastern desert, with a star-studded sky and, of course, the genie was created by Quiet Storm - and according to Louise Smith it is already attracting attention.

"They look great and we have had people say to us how striking it is. The luxurious seasonal shades of rich reds, gold and purple complement the Christmas decorations selected by Freshney Place."

The illustrations have been used in magazine and newspaper advertisements, bus panel adverts and the Christmas store guide all produced by Quiet Storm.
