Travel agents website helps Midland Mainline promote ticket sales

Released: Friday, 27th August 2004

The new site, accessible exclusively to travel agents, has been designed by Quiet Storm in the style of the company's main site but contains information tailored specifically to the needs of travel professionals.

Travel details, ticket sales and contact information are all available to agents through the site, and the toolbar design means that staff at Midland Mainline can easily add to and update the site.

Quiet Storm organised a training session for staff from the Derby-based company and within a morning they were completely up to speed on using the site to meet all their needs.

"Everyone is very pleased with the site, which we think will rapidly become the first point of call for travel agents seeking information about Midland Mainline and its services," E-Marketing Executive Lydia Alden said.

"The team at Quiet Storm has been very helpful and very responsive – we have been amazed at the speed with which they have responded to our requests during development of the site."
