Postcode search

The postcode search module can be tailored to an organisation’s specific requirements enabling users to select services, projects or outlets based upon location.

The criteria for the search can be: Distance from a predefined postcode (i.e. A web editor enters their postcode and selects a predefined criteria, nearest, within x distance, etc). All entries within a specified region (i.e. county, constituency, sales territory, etc). UK postcode information is constantly changing and if search results require a high level of accuracy then we recommend the purchase of a maintained postcode database.

The approximate cost is £1500 for the initial database and £500 for annual updates. More general databases are available free of charge and a selection should be made according to the accuracy of the results required. The UK Postcode Search module enables any authorised web editor to quickly add, amend or remove an entry.
