Space only solutions can create great impact but without close control can run away with your budget
There is an incredible amount of organisation that needs to go into a space only stand, from the initial design and risk assessment through to the logistics and stand build - which more often than not is the first time everything comes together. Military like planning reduces the risk of failure to a minimum but the cost still needs to be justified against return on investment.
The benefit of a stand that has high visual impact through original use of colours, materials, shapes, and graphics makes the expense worthwhile for many of the companies choosing this option but there are now ways you can have the flexibility of a space only exhibition stand with reduced risks.
With space only you have the following basic options, the least expensive option first and getting more expensive as you work your way down the list!
Portable display systems
Things like pop-ups and roller banners can be used for space only options but they need to be well thought out and all elements should have a common theme - otherwise you may end up looking like a collection of smaller companies. One way around this is to have a contractor put down a floor to define your space - it will also provide you with a way to discreetly distribute power to the various parts of your stand.
Modular display systems
Not our favourite option as we think these systems have little or no use when not at an exhibition, you can't break down elements and use them in several locations and they are often bulky to store.
Onesystem
This system combines the benefits of portable displays but has the structural qualities of a modular display - but it looks fantastic! It can be broken down and used in several locations when not being used at a show, but when at the show has the design styling and creative flexibility to turn heads.
Bespoke Build Productions
These are by far the highest risk but can if done right have the greatest impact. The risk is reduced these days as most contractors have state of the art CAD systems, which can render 'photo like' images of the proposed design.
At Quiet Storm we have several contractors we work with, each with their own strengths. If selected to manage a project of this nature we would create the graphics and develop the overall look. We would work with you to develop the exhibition aims and objectives.
